I decided on a white silk background using black ink to print with as I have found, through my experiments, that these colours suited my design the most.
I also liked the fact that the two colours were contrasting against each other to give a simple feel to quite a busy pattern. I think that these colours, along with a light silk material would look the most elegant when made into a garment.
